Mt Hutt Lodge is set in the Rakaia Gorge, within an hour's drive from Christchurch and 16 kms from the town of Methven. The resort is built on a hill, set in a tranquil rural environment, providing all units with stunning views across the Rakaia River to the Hutt Mountains. The resort is a centre for adult activities such as trout and salmon fishing, tramping, golf and skiing. The resort is also convenient to Springfield Station, where you can catch the Transalpine Express, one of the world's great railway journeys.Your unit features full kitchen with stove, microwave oven and dishwasher. There is either SKY TV or Free to Air TV; DVD's in all units. Communal facilities are available on site. All units have wonderful views. All 1brm units sleep 2 and have a queen size bed and 1 bathroom. There is a sofa bed in the lounge room. A car is absolutely essential to fully enjoy the area as there is no public transport nearby or shuttle services. Please notify the resort prior to check inif you anticipate a late arrival.
